Gratitude means thanks and appreciation…which rhymes with attitude and comes from the Latin word gratus , which means thankful, pleasing. When you feel gratitude, you’re pleased by what someone did for you and also by the results.

Did you know that studies have shown that Gratitude can make you happier and heal pain & illnesses in your body. It boots your immunity to anger, disappointment and frustrations. Improving relationships and your body. Thanksgiving is a good holiday to give thanks for everything, we should be grateful everyday, not just on the holiday.

Have a positive attitude toward life and what comes at you on a daily basis. Being thankful for all the things that you have, family, and good health. Thinking of things that you are grateful each day. Don’t dwell on any negative thoughts. Be grateful for those in your life and be sure to tell them. When you only focus on positivity, it will return to you. As a christian believer, I have studied gratitude in the bible, and there are over 40 verses teaching on being thankful.

  2. Physical activity – 30 minutes per day of moderate to vigorous activity daily.
  3. Body weight – maintain a healthy weight. BMI (body mass index), which is between 18.5 and 24.9 to considered normal
  4. Moderate alcohol intake – drink in moderation or don’t drink at all.
  5. Control your blood pressure and cholesterol
  6. Don’t smoke
  7. Protect yourself from too much sun
  8. get enough sleep everyday

Experts have suggested that the best way to help people make healthy diet and lifestyle change is at the large-scale, population level, through public health efforts.
